An Evening With Hugh Davies – Oct. 3

Join us on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. at Joe Muer Detroit for an extravagant wine dinner with Hugh Davies of Schramsberg & Davies Vineyards.  Your evening will begin with a welcome reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres at 6pm, with a four-course plated dinner with wine pairings to follow.

Hugh Davies was born in 1965, the same year his parents revived the historic Schramsberg Vineyards property in Napa Valley. At the time, there were only 22 bonded wineries in Napa and fewer than 100 acres of California vineyards planting Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The family set out to make world-class sparkling wine in the true méthode champenoise style. 40 years later, Hugh was named president and CEO of the sparkling wine house.

This wine pairing dinner will feature some of Napa Valley’s finest wines and a chance to meet the winemaker, president, and CEO himself.

Tickets are $150 per person, tax and gratuity not included.
